Certified Mail
When accepted by USPS or the delivering carrier, Postal Locker staff may sign for Certified Mail addressed to an active mailbox holder.
Certified Mail received for an active mailbox holder will be processed the same way as other mail received for that customer.
Restricted Delivery
Restricted Delivery mail is different from regular Certified Mail. If an item requires the named recipient’s personal signature, our staff will not accept it on the customer’s behalf.
Important: If you expect mail that requires your personal signature, please contact the sender or carrier before using a PMB address.
Legal Mail and Legal Documents
Legal documents that are successfully delivered through normal mail to an active mailbox holder will be processed like other mail received for that customer.
However, receiving legal correspondence through the mail is not the same as accepting legal service of process or acting as a legal representative.
